Beijing Fashion Week Marks 10th Anniversary with International Collaboration and Tech-Infused Showcases

BEIJING, March 28, 2025 (FASHION BEAUTY SCENE) — Beijing Fashion Week concluded its AW2025 edition with a multi-day showcase of fashion, design, and innovation, commemorating the event’s 10th anniversary and signaling the city’s growing role in the global fashion industry.
The closing show, designed by independent French designer Irakli Nasidzé, featured a runway transformed into a living museum, incorporating bronze and sancai artifacts co-created with Chinese artist Qiao Qi.
This year’s event brought together brands and designers from China, France, Italy, Korea, and Georgia. For the first time, the Kids Wear category was introduced. In another first, 50 shopping malls across Beijing partnered with Fashion Week to offer coordinated sales promotions, aimed at building a sustainable citywide retail model tied to the fashion calendar.
According to the organizers, the 10th anniversary marks a pivotal moment as Beijing Fashion Week seeks to strengthen the city's influence as a fashion capital and support the broader development of China’s fashion industry.
